Site Planning

Site Planning is the study, careful organization and documentation of all of the features, components, and program requirements of a development including buildings, landscape, gardens, roads and walkways. Designing any landscape and integrating these elements requires careful consideration of the surrounding environment to ensure the new design is responsive, fits functionally, visually and environmentally. The ‘fit’ of the design involves, for example, an understanding of views in and out, access and connectivity, topography, microclimate, solar aspect and prevailing winds.
